How long does it take to complete the Open Water Scuba Diving course?
It is possible to complete the theory in 5 days, pool skills fellow the date fix, and four ocean dives in 2 days. The theory consists of learning information from a dive manual, video, or multi-media, five short multiple-choice quizzes and a final exam. There are five corresponding pool or confined water skill sessions, and the course is completed by making four open water dives to a maximum of eighteen meters. Therefore, most students take four days to complete the course at a more relaxed pace.
Do I need any extra dive equipment or study materials?
The study materials required for the course are included in the price. However, additional PADI manuals and dive gear is available from the Dive School.
